Ahmet Pekkip is a successful serial entrepreneur and business leader who developed a passion for bringing new cures of cancer to patients. He began his versatile career in 1975 as a Construction Superintendent for the US Army in Heidelberg. In 1981 he graduated from the Industrial Engineering Department in Philadelphia, USA. In 1985, he received the teaching permission for seminars in the field of industrial engineering.
Since 2001, Ahmet Pekkip has been active in various projects in the healthcare sector. In 2001 he took over the management and operation of various clinics, mainly the Rhein-Jura-Klinik Bad Säckingen, a psychiatric and psychosomatic private clinic, which he led to unexpected and lasting success.
In 2014, Ahmet Pekkip founded Xenios Oncology Advice AG, which renamed PEKKIP Oncology Alliance AG in 2016.
Parallel to her studies at the Frankfurt Conservatory, Lale Jakob took over the position of General Managing Director for the International Katarzyna Mycka Marimba Academy in 2009.
She then studied controlling, management and information in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. During her bachelor thesis she worked in the marketing department of expopharmin Eschborn.
Lale Jakob began her career in the marketing department of Xenios Oncology Advice AG. In 2015, she was promoted to Senior Director Commercial Relations at Xenios. In 2016, she joined the Senior Associate Commercial Relations of the PEKKIP Oncology Alliance.
Since 2019, Lale Jakob is Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the FUBIS program, the first drug coming out of PEKKIP Oncology Alliance.
Dr. Klaus Herdrich
Senior Associate Medical Affairs
Dr. Klaus Herdrich studied biology and geography at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. He completed his doctoral degree in microbilogy in 1981 and worked as an assistant at the Botanical Institute. From there, he transferred to the pharmaceutical industry (ASTA Medica, Baxter) where he served in different positions in global medical affairs and global marketing.
Dr. Gerald Loos
Head of M&A and Clinical Development
Gerald Loos has profound background in clinical practice and pharma-Industry. He is in charge of sourcing and partnering assets for Pekkip Oncology AG. In addition he oversees the clinical development of our assets and develops commercialization strategies.
Prior, Gerald has been Junior Partner at McKinsey & Company in Frankfurt. Within his 7 years at McKinsey he developed his focus on Pharma-/Med-Tech industry, with emphasis to M&A, commercial operating models and clinical development programs. He served clients across the globe, with a wide spread from big pharma to rare disease biotechs.
Gerald is a Medical Doctor with approbation from Frankfurt, Germany and full USMLE from Houston, Texas and a doctoral thesis in innovative radiology imaging at the University of Frankfurt.
